Jamie Nacht grew up watching his family build wealth one rental property at a time. They weren't institutional investors—just everyday people who recognized real estate as a powerful financial tool. Inspired by their success, he invested in his first property while earning his master's degree. But even with a background in finance, he quickly realized that real estate investing wasn't as simple as it seemed.
In 2013, while working in banking, Jamie faced a challenge—he'd been priced out of the Seattle market he knew well. Looking for opportunities elsewhere, he built a financial model to analyze investment properties. But the process was slow. Manually evaluating each deal took too much time, limiting his ability to scale.
Jamie soon discovered something surprising: most investors weren't running the numbers at all. Instead, they relied on instinct. For someone trained to assess financial risk, this was perplexing. So Jamie set out to create a smarter way to invest—one based on data, not guesswork.
What began as a simple financial model evolved into an entire ecosystem designed to help investors succeed.
